My First Look with Rudolph

It was a typical Friday night for me- sitting at home, eating a bagel with Nutella, and flipping channels. I usually watch Law and Order SVU or Cake Boss or iCarly but I wanted to watch something different.I needed a change in routine. As I was trying to find something to watch, I came across the Turner Classic Movie channel, one of my most favorite channels. It was playing a movie I had never heard of with people I've never seen before. The movie was called The Young Rajah starring Rudolph Valentino. The info indicated that it was a restored silent movie about a young man with telepathic abilities who was descended from Indian royalty. At first I thought, "a silent movie? Who watches those anymore?" But I clicked select anyways. I was thinking how awfully boring it was going to be but I found myself sitting at the edge of the recliner knocking my toy poodle off the edge of the seat. I was enjoying it! The first thing that caught my eye was Rudolph himself- he ain't that bad lookin. :) Also, being a silent movie, his acting was quite good! I was impressed! There was action, romance, suspense, the list could go on. Ya know, the silent part is actually a perk, it leaves the viewer to use their imagination as to what the rest of the dialogue might be- well that is if you can't read their lips. It also let's you imagine what their voices might sound like.
When the movie was over, I wanted to watch more. I went to guide and saw that there was no more silent movies coming on for the next week. How was I going to keep myself occupied?? Oh wait... I have Netflix. ;)
